Investigation 2: April 9th 2005 - Greenpoint, Brooklyn NY: Swimming Pool - Visions, shadows, voices. Investigators: Dom V, Dan S, Tony S, Neil T Conclusion: We just completed the investigation at McCarren park pool. We did not witness anything conclusive but we still have data to analyze. We used infrared video and both 35mm & digital cameras. Nothing was found. News Update: Oct. 10th 2007: Plans are to restore and open the Greenpoint Pool in 2008-09. The pool is now used for concerts. I recently went to the pool for the Beatsie Boys Concert and it brought back childhood memories and past investigations. I will keep my ears open for any stories of the Haunted Pool! Update: Oct. 22 2007: Information from a guard who worked at the pool from 1976 - 1981 has reported that he discovered and pulled out a young man from the 16 Ft pool in 1977-78. This is the first solid proof of a death in the pool. I will try and find out more details. Case Remains: RE-OPENED |
