Lucid Dreams

Although most of us are unaware of our bodies or where we are while we are dreaming, some people report having Lucid Dreams, in which they know they are dreaming and feel as though they are conscious. A few even say that they can control the action in these dreams, much as a scriptwriter decides what will happen in a movie. We all at one time or another have experienced a Lucid Dream. An example is when you are having a nightmare and become aware that you are frightened, so you change the outcome of your dream to a more pleasant one. Lucid Dreams tend to occur either the closer you are from falling asleep or the closer you are to waking up. Lucid Dreams are not Out of Body Experiences; Lucid Dreams are just controllable dreams, unlike OBE’s (that you maintain full consciousness). Lucid Dreams can be adventurous, Imagine going to see a movie that you enjoyed immensely and when you went to sleep that evening you where able to be your favorite character in the movie and control all the action. Lucid Dreams are completely psychological and not at all paranormal, all though frequently reported as such. Lucid Dreams are usually not hallucinations and are a normal occurrence. A whole world of dreams are out there that human nature will never completely understand. We know what causes dreams, how they are sometimes formed, but we will never know exactly what they mean. Are dreams a doorway to another world, are they visions of other places and times. Dreams can be fantasy or frightening, sad or funny but the one thing they will always be, "Yours". Enjoy..........
